Judy is a co-director of AccessAbilityAustralia with both professional and lived experience in disability.
AccessAbilityAustralia design and develop customised accessibility guides and communication boards for a range of organisations as well as deliver Communication Access Training (CAT).
Judy says: “Our CAT is all about sharing information, awareness and strategies so a greater level of customer care and service can be achieved. We should never underestimate a persons desire to want to communicate with others. Remember talking is not the only way to speak.”
Judy has a son who lives with Autism Spectrum Disorder, a severe Communication Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder. Professionally, Judy has worked within the Education Department on the “Program for Students with Disability” and co-written published articles in Teacher Learning Journals.
